InkComply™ acts as the Authorized Representative to complete Section 2 of the I-9 on behalf of remote employers.
No notarial act performed. Signer must present valid USCIS-accepted ID at the appointment.

Includes same-day photo documentation, on-site verification, and upload. Ideal for banks, asset management, or insurance checks. (Rates reflect direct-to-client bookings. Signing service payouts may vary).

Witness Coordination (Add-on)
Rate: $50-$75 per witness
Includes ID verification and signature observation. Subject to availability. Advance notice required. Clients are encouraged to provide their own witnesses when possible.

At InkComply™, our mobile notary and concierge signing services are proudly based in Irvine, California. Travel within 0–5 miles of InkComply’s headquarters near the Great Park Neighborhood is included in the total service fee for most mobile appointments.
For locations beyond that, the following mileage-based travel fees apply unless travel is already included in the service rate (distance, one way):
0-5 miles: Included in $50 minimum appointment total (travel is included, but a $50 minimum applies for all local appointments).
6-10 miles: $25 flat
11-15 miles: $35 flat
16–20 miles: $45 flat
21-30 miles: $60-$75 flat or $3/mile (rounded up)
31+ miles: Custom quote (starting at $90+)

What identification do I need to bring?
Clients must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms include:
California Driver’s License or State ID
U.S. Passport or Passport Card
U.S. Military ID
Foreign Passport (must be stamped by USCIS or have valid I-94)
Per California law, IDs expired within the last 5 years are acceptable. Older IDs are not.
Can you provide witnesses?
Witnesses are the client’s responsibility unless pre-arranged with InkComply™.
For an additional fee, we offer witness coordination upon request.
Please notify us in advance if witnesses are needed - dependent upon availability.
Can you print of scan documents for me?
Yes. Printing, scanbacks, and document preparation services are available for most appointments.
Standard printing is included in real estate loan signings. Additional pages may incur a small fee.
Do you offer remote online notarization (RON)?
At this time, InkComply™ offers in-person mobile notary services only. Remote online notarization is not yet permitted for California notaries.
We plan to expand into RON services as regulations evolve.
Do both spouses or parties need to be present?
Yes. Each signer must appear in person with valid ID at the time of the notarization.
We cannot notarize for absent signers or accept signatures signed beforehand.
Can you notarize for someone who is elderly, disabled, or receiving care?
Yes — we specialize in mobile services for seniors and medically vulnerable individuals.
However, all signers must be mentally aware, alert, and willing. If we cannot verify willingness or capacity, we will not proceed.
Can a minor be notarized?
Yes — but only if the minor can provide valid identification and understands what they are signing.
Additional documentation (e.g., parental consent) may be required depending on the situation.
Can you notarize a document with blank spaces?
No. All documents must be complete before we proceed with notarization.
We cannot notarize incomplete documents with blank fields or missing pages.
Can you help fill out or explain legal documents?
No. InkComply™ is not a law office, and I am not an attorney.
As a California notary public, I am legally prohibited from offering legal advice, preparing legal forms, or answering legal questions.
Please consult an attorney if legal guidance is needed.
Can you notarize documents written in another language?
Only if both the signer and the notary can communicate directly in the same language.
California law prohibits the use of translators during notarization.
Do you provide notary services for wills or living trusts?
Yes. We frequently notarize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and HIPAA releases.
Some documents may also require witnesses — please inquire in advance.
Do you offer same-day or emergency appointments?
Yes! Same-day bookings are accepted when availability allows.
We also offer overnight emergency signings (9 PM – 5 AM) for urgent matters.
Flat rate: $495 (within our service zone)
What payment methods do you accept?
Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Square, and cash.
Payment is due at the time of service.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
No cancellation fee if you notify us at least 1 hour before your appointment.
$35 late cancellation fee for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 1 hour’s notice (dependent upon circumstances).
If InkComply™ cancels, no fee will be charged, and any prepayment will be refunded in full.
What if I lost my ID or don’t have one?
California law permits the use of two credible witnesses (with valid ID) when the signer lacks acceptable identification.
Witnesses must not be named in the document and must be pre-arranged.
What if I forget a document or ID at the appointment?
If you are not fully prepared (e.g., missing ID, documents, or payment), your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
A rebooking fee or wait time charge may apply.
Can I schedule a notarization on behalf of someone else?
Yes, you may book on someone’s behalf, but the signer must be present, and all legal identification and readiness requirements must be met.
We’ll confirm details with the signer upon arrival.
How long will the appointment take?
Basic notarial appointments typically take 15–30 minutes.
More involved services—such as estate plans, real estate closings, or jail/hospital signings—may take up to 60–90 minutes, depending on complexity and number of documents.
